Reincarnation  and
Fundamentalist Christianity

.

.

.

    Reincarnation Defined:

Billions of people believe that humans are Eternal Divine Beings who simply inhabit physical bodies. and that a physical body is merely a vehicle for the temporary use of the Eternal Being while here on Earth.   Reincarnation believers say they are Eternal Beings  experiencing their divinity in physical form.   Reincarnation is one of three fundamental religious assumptions about the nature of human reality.

.

    The Universal Spiritual perspective:

This view of life is, in many ways,  similar to that of the Eastern religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism, but the religious trapping are left out.   For a Detail Description.

.

.

The Three Basic Assumptions About Life

Regarding the Question,  What is the nature of humankind?   when we examine the available evidence and the available authorities, we find three mutually-exclusive possibilities.

      1)   Reincarnation -- a series of lives on Earth.   Humans are Eternal
Divine beings currently having an Earthly experience.

      2)    Religious One-life-ism --- One  life on Earth and then heaven or
hell forever (as it seems that most anti-abortionists believe)

Humans  were magically created by God at conception..
               Humans are our physical bodies.
.

      3)   Atheism -- one life on Earth and then nothing.   Humans are
simply earth-matter that has somehow  magically acquired
              consciousness.

There is no concrete conclusive evidence to prove the truth or fantasy of any of these three possibilities.   Because the basic assumptions underlying each of these beliefs are mutually exclusive, two of them contain major errors.    This leaves billions of people making irreversible, life-altering decisions based on a false foundation -- a foundation that is equally as solid and equally as real as the fables about the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny.

Each of the three basic assumptions about life  gives a very different meanings to human life and to abortion.   For a detailed analysis of the differences among the three assumptions, see the web page titled:
Atheism, Religious One-life-ism, and Reincarnation.
.

.

    Universal Spiritual Values Ignored:

Some startling and conflicting conclusions are revealed when viewing  “Evolution.   “The Death Penalty.   “Abortion.  and  “Human Cloning”. from each of the three basic perspectives on life, Atheism,.   Religious one-life-ism,.   and Reincarnation..   Each belief system offers its own meaning, suggests different implications, and comes to conclusions that directly contradict the other two.

Present public debates regarding “Evolution.   “The Death Penalty.   “Abortion.  and  “Human Cloning”.  ignore the reincarnation possibility and the phenomenal implications that this theory has on the meaning and significance of each of these issues.

.

.

.

    Reincarnation and Abortion:

On the reincarnation side there are  literally tens of thousands of well respected scientists,  authors, visionaries, philosophers and religious leaders from antiquity to modern times who have offered the world an overwhelming amount of anecdotal data, indirect implications, situations, circumstances, and personal experiences that are in complete harmony with the idea that we are Eternal Divine beings.

As an example of indirect evidence that is consistent with the reincarnation possibility, see the section below on this page titled:  Think About This for a Moment..

.

    Christian One-life-ism  and Abortion:

On the Christian one-life-ism side,  the story of God's conception magic act. has been handed down from generation to generation going all the way back to its origin with the people  who believed the Earth was flat.   There is very little anecdotal data, indirect implications, situations, circumstances, and personal experiences that in any way supports the "conception-magic-act" possibility and at the same time is inconsistent with or refutes the "eternal divine being" possibility.

We hear about embryo movement, womb memories,. heart beats, and lines such as "it looks like a baby" offered as evidence in support of the "conception-magic-act" story,  but every one of these stories is also completely consistent with the possibility that we are Eternal Divine Beings.

.

    Who's Right?

No one can answer that question with provable certainty; however, when one examines the scientific evidence and asks, "Is this evidence consistent with conception magic or reincarnation?",  the answer is that it  is overwhelmingly consistent with the possibility that we are Eternal Divine Beings.   Source after source points us in the same direction,  toward eternal beings and away from conception magic.

Although the circumstantial evidence points overwhelmingly  toward reincarnation being true, no one can prove that any one of the three assumptions is, or is not “The Divine Truth,”

    You Decide for Yourself:

Viewers are invited to examine:

An Interview with the Devil®. -- Exposing and Examining the Hidden and Previously Ignored Aspects of Fundamentalist Christianity, Including the Abortion Controversy.

Both book offer a great deal of consistent, logical information, and personal stories  regarding the possibility that we are Eternal Divine Beings.  And again, please don't believe me.   Examine the evidence in these books and elsewhere.   Come to your own conclusions.

.

What You Have Heard Up to Now:

The vast majority of the information put out to the public about abortion comes from people who adhere to  the Christian belief system.   It is; therefore, colored by these Christian beliefs.   If you expand that viewing platform and also view abortion from the reincarnation perspective and from the  atheism perspective, you will see that the meaning, significance and consequences of abortion are markedly different in each of these three beliefs..

The ultra-conservative anti-abortionist Christian leaders completely ignore reincarnation as a possibility.  They tell their followers all kinds of negative things about the people who believe in reincarnation, and they tell them not to read or listen to any information about this topic because if they do, they could be influenced by the devil and lose their faith.

The anti-abortion leaders tell their followers that Jews, Moslems, Mormons, and the billions of humans (such as Hindus and Buddhists) who believe in reincarnation do not deserve the right to practice their own religions.   The Universal Spiritual Perspective, which represents the beliefs of millions of Americans is also ignored.   According to the anti-abortionist leaders, all non-Christians are  heathens who must be converted to the Christian faith and be baptized.   Otherwise, according to their beliefs, God will abandon these people and refuse them access to heaven.

Our intention is to expand the public debate on abortion  to include the reincarnation perspective.

.

   Self-created Significances:

Everyone brings his or her own meaning to the abortion issue..   A person who believes in Christian one-life-ism will see abortion very differently from someone who believes in reincarnation or atheism.   This is because the meaning of any experience (including abortion) has much more to do with the person having the experience than it has to do with the external experience itself.

.

Think About This for a moment:

1) Reincarnation was a common belief in the middle Eastern culture 2000 years ago.

2)  The Christian Bible incorporates countless aspects of the culture from that era.

3) There is no direct mention of reincarnation in the Christian Bible.

4)  There are numerous references in the Christian Bible that are completely compatible with the belief in reincarnation.

5)  There is absolutely nothing in the Bible that denies the reality of reincarnation.

6)  It's a well- documented fact that the Early Christian leaders engaged in numerous criminal acts such as lies,  arson and murder.

7)  A belief in reincarnation would significantly interfere with the Early Roman Catholic Hierarchy's attempt to dominate and control the people of that era.

8)  The Bible was edited several times in its early years.

9)  It's not only possible, its a very reasonable assumption that references to reincarnation were simply edited out of what we, today, call the Christian Bible..

.

.

.

    Religious Freedom:

The billions of people who believe in reincarnation don't believe the Christian story about  God's Conception Magic Act..   They believe that they are already eternal beings.   They believe that they simply inhabit a series of replaceable, human bodies.   How come they don't  have the right to practice their religion?

Because present day technology provides no conclusive answers about which one of the three assumptions (Atheism, Reincarnation, and Religious One-life-ism).  is correct, we are still left with only speculation, conjecture, guesswork, and personal opinions as to what abortion is and what it means.  Even the technical data. we do have has to be interpreted as to what it means and that again returns us to speculation, conjecture, guesswork, and personal opinions.

The ultra-conservative, anti-abortionist Christian leaders would have you believe that people who hold religious beliefs that are different from theirs should be denied freedom of religion.  For example, they ignore Genesis 2:7 in the Christian Bible which clearly says life begins at first breath.   They clearly intend to deny the religious freedom to those who actually believe that Bible is correct.   And as another example:   If they have their way, those who follow the Jewish religion and those who adhere to the reincarnation religions would also be denied  their religious freedom.   They even deny the United States Constitution which prohibits the government from endorsing one religion and denying freedom of religion to another.

To these who ardently claim exclusive access to God, we ask:

How do you know that you are right and the billions who believe in reincarnation are wrong?   Nobody is attempting to force you to practice someone else's religion.   It is you who are attempting to force others to practice your religion.   Under such circumstances, is it unreasonable to ask that you prove that reincarnation  is false and prove that God's magic act at conception is true?   Is it unreasonable to ask that you prove the zygote, embryo, fetus is the human being?   Are you your physical body?   Why don't you just prove that you are your body?   Then we could stop all this fighting over whose belief is correct.

Do the billions of people who believe in reincarnation have a right to practice their religion?   Why do anti-abortionists adamantly claim religious freedom for themselves and then deny that same right to others?

So before you send the police to enforce  the unenforceable, please just provide a tangible, provable answer to this question:  Is a human being  "an eternal spirit " or simply  "flesh and bones?"

.

    What is Appropriate Human Behavior?

We have people killing each other and blindly destroying our environment based on fairytale-level beliefs about God and about the nature of Earth-plane reality.   Billions of people believe in Religious one-life-ism;. billions more believe in reincarnation..   And based on their behavior, millions more must believe in Atheism..

These three beliefs are mutually exclusive, so two of them must be wrong.   This means that billions of humans are living their lives based on a belief in something that's simply not true.   And as a result, some incredibly destructive decisions are being made -- decisions that are creating  irreversible, long-term, disastrous consequences.

The billions of people who believe in reincarnation don't believe the Christian magic act story.   They believe that they are already eternal beings.    They believe that they simply inhabit a series of replaceable, human bodies.   How come they don't  have the right to practice their religion?
