We know the ultra-conservative, fundamentalist Christians  claim He does, but does God really perform an instantaneous, supernatural, transcendental magic act every time a human egg and sperm unite?    Does God really create a brand new, never-before-existing, separate, complete, eternal, everlasting, sovereign, human being at every conception?   What evidence do you have to support such a claim?   It’s not in the Bible and there’s no scientific evidence to support it, so where did this religious belief come from?

How do you know that you are your physical body?   Do you have any evidence to support that belief?   Is it possible that the real human being is the “spirit” which God says enters the physical body with the breath (Genesis 2:7,  Job 33:4,  Ecclesiastes 11:5,RSV) and then goes back to God at death? (Ecclesiastes 12:7)   How do you know which of these two possibilities is correct?

Multiple millions believe that the Christian Bible is correct when it say that life begins with breath, and billions more believe in the religions that teach reincarnation.   How is it that you are correct and that both the Christian Bible and billions of people who believe in reincarnation are wrong?

Why do you suppose it is that millions of your fellow Christians also believe the Bible and don't believe in God's conception magic act?   Is it possible that Genesis 2:7,  Job 33:4,  and Ecclesiastes 11:5,RSV are correct?    Is it possible that one of Satan's agents has told you a lie? 

When someone tells you something, how do you know whether it's the truth or a lie?  If you believe that the Christian Bible is the word of God, who are you going to believe, God or a wolf in sheep's clothing?°   Perhaps you might want to re-read  Genesis 2:7,  Job 33:4,  Ecclesiastes 11:5,RSV, and Mark 9:42.

Have you ever heard this Biblical passage, "Know the truth and the truth will set you free.”? (John 8:32)    Do you have any idea that that means?  Are you aware that withholding the truth is intentional deception, it's a lie of omission?°  If the truth sets you free, what do lies do?   And what are the consequences to those engaging in telling lies?°

Is denying Genesis 2:7,  Job 33:4,  and Ecclesiastes 11:5,RSV,. are you doing God's work or Satan's work?   Are you aware that your eternal salvation is a stake,.  perhaps you would do well to pay attention to  Mark 9:42

“And whoever shall cause one of these little ones who believes in me to stumble, it is better for him that an ass’s millstone were hanged on his neck, and that he were thrown into the sea.”

How do your separate factual evidence from your personal, religious beliefs?   How do you distinguish reality from a belief about reality?   How do you know the difference?   Can we base secular laws on your personal religious beliefs?

Are we our physical human bodies?    or     Are we eternal being who simply inhabit physical bodies?  

Are we souls with a body, bodies with a soul, or only lumps of dust that have somehow magically acquired consciousness?

Are you aware that billions of people hold religious beliefs that are in direct conflict with your religious beliefs?   The Christian hierarchy teaches that we our physical human bodies.   The Eastern religion  teach that we eternal being who simply inhabit physical bodies.   They can't both be right.   So whose right?  

Are you aware that if God does not step in and do His magic act at every conception, that that completely changes the meaning and significance of abortion.   If the Christian story about God’s magic act is just a fairytale that somebody made up, how can this be the foundation of secular laws prohibiting abortion?

Since you’ve also been blessed with wealth far in excess of the average human being, and since you are also so confident that you are correct, would you be willing to finance a research project to answer two questions:  
1)  Where did this magic-act story actually come from?   and  
2)  Is it true?

Are you aware that if humans are eternal spirits and not their physical bodies, that that completely changes the meaning and significance of abortion.   If we are not our physical bodies, then what's all the anti-abortion fuss about?   If we are our physical bodies, please provide the proof of that.

What is the nature of a human being?   What’s the purpose of human life?   Where did we come from?   Where are we going?   What are we?   Is life on Earth simply a ticket to heaven?   Is life on Earth a test we must pass in order to get into heaven?   Is it possible that human life has some other purpose?  

Are you aware that you need to answer the above two  questions before you can tell us what intentionally terminating a pregnancy actually is and what significance that action actually have.   Have you read Romans 14:14 lately?

What is this non-physical stuff we call "the mind" or "spirit?   Can there be life without spirit?    

If reincarnation is true and if there is such a thing as karma, what do you suppose you are setting yourself up for?   If the God of the Christian Bible is correct, then what else do you suppose you are setting yourself up for?    You might want to read Mark 9:42.

How can you ignore Genesis 2:7,  Job 33:4,  Ezekiel 37:1-10,  Ecclesiastes 12:7, Mark 9:42,  and Ecclesiastes 11:5,RSV?   If you really believe that the Bible is the word of God, I'd think you'd be concerned for your eternal soul.   Apparently you aren't concerned.   Why not?  

Are you really Christian?   Or are you a wolf hiding in sheep's clothing?°   If you haven't read those passages you do well to read them.   If you have read them, you'd might want to read them again.

If a woman intentionally aborts a human embryo (inpreterm), is she killing a person or is she simply saying:  "Spirit, I'm not ready to be a mother, so I'm not going to build a body for you to come into.   Perhaps at some later time we can get together."?   How do you know for sure which one she would be doing?

Do the billions of people who believe in reincarnation have a right to practice their religion?   Why do the anti-abortionists adamantly claim religious freedom for themselves and then deny that same right to others?

Are you aware that if you can’t prove that life begins at conception, then you are actually forcing the rest of us to practice your religion?   What gives you the right to play God in someone else’s life?   What about the God-granted rights of every human being? --  rights such as life, liberty, free will, self-determination, freedom of religion, and freedom from religion?   Do you know what FREEDOM FROM RELIGION means?

Where did your religious beliefs come from?   Are  you aware that if you had been born of parents who strongly believed in a religion different from the one you now hold to so dearly, that you'd very likely be an adamant believer of that other religion clinging to it as strongly as you now do to your present religion?   What does that tell you about yourself?  What does that tell you about someone else's religion?  What does that tell you about your own religion?  

Do you know what Spiritual Awareness°  means?   Do you really believe that your religion has exclusive access to God?    Trying to stick God into a single religion is like trying to fit the universe into a shoe box.   What if you don't have access to the complete truth?  What if your beliefs are only partially right?   What if there is something about God that you don't already know?

Have you ever been wrong?   While you were being wrong, did you know you were wrong?   Is it possible that you are wrong about something right now?   If you are wrong what are the possible consequences of your actions?   Do you know what hellfire and damnation means?   Perhaps you'd better find out what you are setting yourself up for when you deny Genesis 2:7

Have you ever looked at abortion from the perspective of some other religion's beliefs?    Are you aware that when one examines abortion in detail and within the contexts of each of these three, basic, religious assumptions (Religious one-life-ism, Atheism, and Reincarnation) the evidence leads  to three very different conclusions regarding its significance, its meaning, and its consequences?

Have you considered the possibility that intentionally terminating a pregnancy  is a religious freedom issue?   If you can’t prove God’s magic act occurs at every conception, and if you can’t prove that humans are their bodies, then how can you justify using secular laws to force unwilling women to birth unwanted children?         Circa 1870    ...

Why is it that, prior to circa 1870, the Roman Catholic Church said that an independent life began three months after conception, and now they say an independent life begins at conception?   Did God change His mind?   Can Divine Truth be arbitrarily changed at the whim of the Roman Catholic hierarchy?    Are you aware of what  the Official Roman Catholic Encyclopedia has to say about when life begins?°

Are you aware that outlawing abortion never has never stopped and will not stop abortions?

Have you looked at abortion in terms of its social, economic, environmental impact?   Have you ever asked what are the costs and consequences of outlawing abortion?   Are you aware of the grief and misery you are promoting among the poor and disadvantaged people all over the world?   Are you aware of cost in terms of species extinction, rain forest destruction, and pollution that you are promoting by pushing  forced motherhood onto unwilling women?

Is your goal simply saving pregnant eggs or is your intention to save the lives of innocent children?   If your goal really is saving innocent children's lives, then you are doing a dismally poor job.   Forcing unwilling women to produce more unwanted children in an already overcrowded world is a very inefficient and very ineffective way to save babies?   Have you considered focusing your time, money, and effort on saving the 40,000 already-born babies that starve to death every day or who die from curable diseases?

In a world where eight-hundred-million  (800,000,000) people are hungry right now; and in a world where forty thousand (40,000) innocent children starve to death every day, how can you possibly force unwilling women to birth still more unwanted, unhealthy, children? 

Where is your compassion?   Where is your love?   Where is your head?  Death ten times that of the 9-11 world trade disaster occurring every day, and you simply ignore it.   You also ignore your very own Bible.  "If someone…sees a brother in need and refuses him compassion, how can the love of God remain in Him?" (1 John 3:17)   Does forcing unwilling women to bear unwanted children make any sense?

Are you aware that peddling egg rights is simply a tool of the ant-abortion leaders for promoting their political agenda?  

Do you think abortion occurs in a vacuum?   Have you considered the simple fact that every abortion occurs in an absolutely unique context, with its own specific needs, desires, capabilities, and circumstances, each of which requires an individual personalized response?   Do you even know what a context is?   How can forced motherhood be the one and only answer to every unwanted pregnancy?   Come on!   Get real!  You may be pro-embryo, but you are certainly not pro-life!

How do you know with such certainty when an independent human life begins?  And as long as you have such Godly wisdom, please tell us exactly when does day become night?   Draw the lines for us between hot and cold, wet and dry, sweet and bitter.  

And as long as you know so much, please also draw the lines for us between smart and stupid,  humility and arrogance,  religious freedom and religious bigotry,  free will choice and forced-motherhood?

And since you are peddling the fundamentalist Christian party line, perhaps you can tell the rest of us what these four, biblical passages mean:

Genesis 2:7   “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Job 33:4   “The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty has given me life.”

Ecclesiastes 11:5, RSV   “As you do not know how the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of the woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.”

Mark 9:42  “And whoever shall cause one of these little ones who believes in me to stumble, it is better for him that an ass’s millstone were hanged on his neck, and that he were thrown into the sea.”

Your entire anti-choice campaign is based on a claim that you are protecting an innocent third party who can’t protect him or herself.   Do you have any proof that the zygote, embryo, and fetus is that innocent third party?   Billions believe that humans are eternal divine beings who simply inhabit physical bodies and that a physical body is merely a vehicle for the temporary use of the eternal being while here on Earth. 

How do you know that you are right and the billions who believe in reincarnation are wrong?   Nobody is attempting to force you to practice someone else's religion.   It is you who are attempting to force others to practice your religion.   Under such circumstances, is it unreasonable to ask that you prove that reincarnation  is false or prove that God's magic act at conception is true?   Is it unreasonable to ask that you prove the zygote, embryo, fetus is the human being?   Are you your physical body?   Would you be willing to simply prove that you are your body?   Then we could stop all this fighting over whose belief is correct.

If you are your physical body, how do you get to heaven after your body dies?   Does God perform another instantaneous, supernatural, transcendental magic act and transform you into something other than your physical body?   Do you have some evidence to support that, or is it still another one of your personal religious beliefs?

How come God wants you to let all those already born babies die while you spend all that time, money, and effort chasing rights for pregnant eggs?

How come God wants you to support and endorse those people who do evil things like denying God’s own words in the Bible,  like deceiving God's followers,  like lying, harassment, arson, and murdering doctors?

How many unwanted babies have you personally adopted?   In order to adopt your fair share, you need to make room in your home for at least ten.

How many of the teenagers that you have forced into motherhood are you now financially supporting?

Do you have an extra $200,000 to care for just one of the thousands of crack babies that you and your bedfellows have forced into the world?   Just imagine how many already born babies you have allowed to die because you are so focused on saving pregnant eggs.   You may be pro-embryo, but you certainly are not pro-life!

Are your statements about forced motherhood based on 
        “The Truth - - The Whole Truth - -And Nothing but the Truth?” 
or on only 
       a small portion of the truth, 
       on distortions of the truth, 
       on speculation, conjecture, or guess work, 
       on what momma told you when you were five-years old, 
       on personal religious beliefs,
 and/or 
       on highly emotional rhetoric you heard from someone else?  

Or perhaps you are simply regurgitating centuries-old church dogma.

Have you ever slept out under a bridge on a cold and rainy night?   

Have you ever gone hungry for weeks at a time? 

Have you ever watched one of your children starve to death?

Have you ever been pregnant is in a situation where you couldn’t care for the children you already have? 

Have you ever been forced by the agony of self-survival, to abandon a baby knowing it would die?

Have you ever been pregnant at age thirteen?

Have you ever been a gullible teenager pressured into having sex and then abandoned by the boy who got you pregnant?

Have you ever risked your life under the knife of a back-alley abortionist?

How can you be so sure that your beliefs are correct and that everyone else is wrong?  

What gives you the right to force your personal religious beliefs onto every one else?

Please place your hand on the Bible and swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Have you ever gotten women pregnant.   Did any of these women have abortions?

Have you ever engaged in any activity that caused someone else to die?   How do you feel about that?

Have you ever engaged in any sexual activity other than with you wife?

Do you know what the word "hypocrisy" means?

Once you've answered all of these questions, 
     then let's talk about passing a law outlawing abortions.   
           And while we are at it, let's outlaw both sex and stupidity!
