Dear Laura Bush, 

I used to have great respect and admiration for you; that is before I found out that you are prostituting your soul for wealth and privilege.   You believe in a woman’s right to own her own body; to make her own choice about becoming a mother; and yet, as a silent accomplice, you endorse and support forced motherhood.   Shame on you!

Some women sell the use of their genitals for enough money to buy food for their children   Others, for wealth and privilege, sell the integrity of who they are and the values they know to be true.   Which one is the detestable prostitute?   Shame on you!

Some women literally risk their lives to speak out for what they believe is right.   Other who could speak the truth in complete safety, remain mute or support husbands whom they know are causing great harm to other.    Do you suppose these unvoiced women believe that all those dying children die in silence?   Shame on you!

Some women could speak the truth all day and few would hear, and fewer still would listen.   There are others  who have the media attention and could get millions to hear that same truth, but instead they make jokes and pull attention away from the fraud being peddled under their very noses.   Shame on you!

Under the economic system as it’s presently structured, money is a zero-sum game.   Under this system, for some to have, others must go without.   Those in privilege stand on the backs of others, including those who live in abject poverty.   And yet in arrogant hubris and in the face of dying children, the wealth hoarders claim they have earned that privilege.   Their wives simply go along with the charade.   Shame on you!

Some women speak from their hearts and God’s light shines through them.   Others believe one thing and speak another.    Who or what is behind the whitewashed manure that oozes from their mouths?   Shame on you!   

If there is any such place as heaven, when an honest woman meets her maker, she will be invited in.   But when the hypocrite meets her maker, what do you suppose he will say?   And more importantly, where do you imagine she is going to wind up?    And what if the reincarnation theory is true, where do you suppose she will be in her next life?

Do you really believe that  God sent George Jr. to be president of the United Sates and then sent Karl Rove along to tell him what to say and what to do?   Nativity does have its limits, you know.   Shame on you!

Because of your position, you could make a huge impact of the future of the entire Earth and all the living beings upon it.   Instead you sell yourself, you sell you children and your future grand children for wealth, for privilege, and to boost your own ego.   Shame on you.  

What do you suppose your great grand children are going to say?   It will probably be something like this:  

Two  women in our family had a grand opportunities to significantly reduce the mess the world is in today but they were both too _______(fill in the blank)_______   (ignorant, lazy, fearful, greedy, stupid, wise, smart, etc)  to do anything but go along with  the crowd?
